31 Jan Visit to Pench Tiger Reserve, an Exhilarating Experience
“The best education you’ll get is traveling. Nothing teaches you more than exploring the world and accumulating experiences.”- Mark Patterson
I’m Aadya Praveen and I joined Sharanya Narayani International School, one of the best international schools in Bangalore this academic year. Being the best residential school in Bangalore, I feel that our school is beautiful, and surrounded by greenery. My friends here are very kind and friendly. Being not only an IB school, but also an IGCSE school in Bangalore, the teachers facilitate our learning, using kinesthetic learning methods, and are always ready to help. I am clear about the topic taught to me in class. The food we eat in the cafeteria is delicious. I am grateful to all the support staff in the school for keeping my class and other rooms in the school clean.
As a top boarding school in Bangalore, our school organises various study tours, As part of a recent school trip, my friends and I went to Pench Tiger Reserve situated in Madhya Pradesh. During our trip we visited two villages, first, we met the potters in Potter’s Village and we got to know how to make pots out of fertile mud. It was an amazing hands-on experience interacting and adapting to the culture of the people there. Later, we visited the village of Kamba and we were led to see many agricultural fields growing paddy, ginger, and garlic. It was a feast for our eyes and we learnt the ways of farming. We were offered delicious chai by the lady of the house. The aroma itself was appetizing. Lastly, we went for an evening and morning safari using the jeep as a mode of transport. During the safari, we were thrilled and excited to see two tigers and many other animals walk close by. It was a marvellous, enthusiastic, and unforgettable experience I’ve ever had. The various aspects I learnt were to be independent and sociable with other people who were new to me.
