Mr. Thavamani has been in the field of education for over three decades, handling the curriculum of IB Diploma Programme (IB DP), IB Middle Years Programme (IB MYP), and Cambridge, both in India and abroad. He is an IB examiner for Physics, an ATL coordinator, and a good pedagogical leader. He is also an IBEN member. He acted as a mentor to Facilitators with a vision to implement effective and innovative teaching-learning techniques to enhance the quality of classroom transactions. With his futuristic approach as a Head of School, an IB DP coordinator & Physics Facilitator, he played a pivotal role in the collaborative planning process and led the team successfully towards the IB DP & IB MYP authorizations and the first  five-year IB DP evaluation process at SNIS. Prior to his career at SNIS, he has successfully led two IB DP evaluations and multiple IB DP authorizations. 

He strongly believes that international education should encourage learners to think out of the box, inculcate necessary skills to face the challenges of the 21st century, build rich personal and cultural identities, and make them compassionate human beings to create a better and more peaceful world.

He is committed to building responsive relationships with the students, parents, and all the stakeholders of SNIS to create educational opportunities that encourage healthy relationships, individual and shared, alongside effective teamwork and collaboration among the students of SNIS, making learning an exhilarating, gratifying, valuable, and enriching experience.
