What exactly is boarding? Life as a boarder at SNIS, the top boarding school in Bangalore comes with a rigorous stance on academics, personal development, advanced co-curricular activities, social maturity, and it welcomes you with a family, unique and one of a kind. This is my second and final year at this IGCSE and IB school in Bangalore. As with any boarding school, there have been good and bad times. The boarding in this best residential school in Bangalore has helped me in numerous ways. During the course of time, I became more interested and focused on academics and as a result, I developed self-discipline and a strong work ethic. I consider SNIS as one of the best international schools in Bangalore that fosters various personal developments like time management, social skills, and independence.
By balancing work and sports, the advanced co-curricular activities made my time at this residential school more enjoyable, and the entire team also helped me improve my physique and overall health. I’ve also grown in terms of social maturity, having learned valuable life lessons about connection and conflict, and I’m ready to embrace the world outside my comfort zone, as well as the many different perspectives I’ll come across along the way. Many schools say, boarding is “a home away from home.” In this case, it’s true because we’re sleeping, eating, studying, and socialising all at the same time in the same place, and boarding at this top international school has helped me make long-lasting friends whom I can now proudly call my family. Late-night conversations with my friends, participating in a variety of sports, and, finally, exploring myself as an individual and socialising with new people are some of my favourite boarding memories.
