21 Feb Eight years of my experience in SNIS
Hi everyone, I, Sharelle from Sharanya Narayani International School, one of the best international schools in Bangalore, wish to speak about my experience for the past 8 years in this school. I started my journey by joining kindergarten in the year 2015 when I was 3 years old and loved it over here. I was given the freedom to inquire about whatever I want and just go into my world of learning. Being one of the best boarding schools in Bangalore, SNIS is a thinking and open-minded school l would say. It is a nest of students from different countries and we welcome all to be a part of the great experience as a student in this school.
Every year of my schooling has been memorable and also challenging. What I like is that there are many activities like art classes, dance, music, physical education, and many competitions to showcase my talents. I feel, inside the premises, everything is provided like an infirmary, cafeteria, boarding house for boys and girls, transport, and huge ground for children to participate in physical activities. We have hygienic washrooms which are kept clean, good food, stationery, books, and neatly kept classrooms that motivate anyone to be part of it. Every class has enough resources and materials given. The buses are kept clean with comfortable seats for long routes.
Sharanya Narayani International School, one of the best boarding schools in Bangalore is having a 60-acre green campus. It provides a good environment with fresh air all around. On our campus, we have over 10000 trees and gardens for fruits, veggies, and more. The campus is kept clean and eco-friendly. We use sustainable energy for a happy and healthy world. It is a healthy habitat for all our nature friends. We use most of the veggies and fruits from our school which is growing organically like horse neem, neem, jackfruit, rose apple, Jamun (Java plum or Indian blackberry), guava, pomegranate, gooseberry, pineapple, papaya, mango, litchi, grapefruit, avocado, star fruit, water apples, fig, betel nut, cherries, coconut, etc.
Now I study in grade 5B and am a part of the student council. I have been elected as the Sequoia vice-captain. I felt it was my proudest moment. Usually, we use to have a selection where they select each child and that child will be a part of the student council that academic year. But this time we had elections where each student was elected and chosen by the students. We campaigned in the school to seek votes from our peers. The best part was when all the teachers, students, and peers motivated me and supported me in everything. Thank you, SNIS, for giving me this opportunity and letting me take on such a great responsibility. Sharanya Narayani International School is one of the most amazing IB schools in Bangalore and I feel lucky to have been studying here.
