University Placements
College Counselling & University Placements department in tandem with the school’s mission aims at supporting students’ academic achievement as
they prepare for the global and ever changing world of the 21st century. The department works in collaboration with teachers, parents and
students in providing insights from the student’s academic and co-curricular involvement to ensure support throughout the years of high school.
College counselling provides senior school students and parents, individualized support and advice as they navigate their way through college
placements in Indian & global universities and innumerable career options.
The main aim of the counselling department is to help students navigate successfully through academic, peer and parental pressures as they
face standardized tests, the challenges of college admissions, scholarship and financial aid requirements, application process and entrance
into a competitive job market
College counselling is represented at all Parent teacher conferences from Grade 8 onwards. These meetings help provide an overview on
the area of focus at each grade level. Age appropriate activities are conducted for grades 9 to 12 which are progressive in nature to align and
ease the process of transitioning the students from school to college.
SNIS College Counselling department organizes college fairs where universities from different parts of the world are represented. Reputed universities
from India and abroad regularly visit the campus (physically and virtually) – in the process, opening up a world of opportunities for every student
During these visits, students get a first-hand experience about the course options, application process, scholarship and financial aid process, student
life at the universities etc.
