Trustee & Director of Academic Programs
Ms. Lakshmi Reddy brings a multi-dimensional and global perspective to education at SNIS, with more than a decade of experience in International Education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Houston Baptist University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston.
Lakshmi has worked with several multinational organizations across diverse sectors, including education, software, oil & gas, realty and title management, and credit reporting. Her professional journey spans multiple countries, including India, the United States, Canada, Mexico, France, Argentina, and Colombia, giving her deep insight into working with people from varied nationalities and cultures.
This global exposure has shaped her belief that individuality should be celebrated and that every learner must be encouraged to pursue their goals and aspirations. She firmly believes that education must go beyond academics to instill core values such as honesty, tolerance, open-mindedness, self-reliance, courage of conviction, and team spirit, enabling students to grow into responsible and compassionate global citizens.
Head of Middle & Senior School
Mr.Thavamani has been in the field of education for over two decades, handling the curriculum of IB diploma programme and Cambridge, both in India and abroad. He is an IB examiner, an ATL coordinator and a good pedagogical leader. He acted as a mentor to teachers with a vision to implement effective and innovative teaching-learning techniques to enhance the quality of class room transactions. With his futuristic approach as an IBDP coordinator, he played a pivotal role in the collaborative planning process and led the team successfully towards the five year DP evaluation process twice in the past seven years.
He strongly believes that international education should make learners – think out of the box, inculcate necessary skills to face the challenges of the 21st century, build rich personal and cultural identities and render them compassionate human beings to create a better and more peaceful world. He is committed towards building a responsive relationship with the students, parents and all the stake holders of SNIS, to create educational opportunities that encourage healthy relationships, individual and shared, alongside effective teamwork and collaboration among the students of SNIS, to make learning an exhilarating, gratifying, valuable and enriching experience.

Mrs. Shakunthala is a strong advocate of inclusive and equitable education, firmly believing in the transformative power of learning for both boys and girls alike. She is deeply committed to uplifting underprivileged students from rural communities, ensuring they are given opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.
She emphasizes education not merely as a means of academic achievement, but as a foundation for building strong character. Mrs. Shakunthala places the highest importance on values such as honesty, ethics, integrity, and social responsibility, which she believes are essential to shaping compassionate and responsible individuals.
Beyond education, she actively supports and promotes initiatives that address hunger, recognising that nourishment and dignity are fundamental to a child’s ability to learn. Her service-oriented outlook and commitment to values-driven education continue to guide her contributions as a Trustee and strengthen the school’s mission of holistic development.
